Prairie Portraits

Hi!

I'm Tanya, the face behind Prairie Portraits! I grew up in southwestern Manitoba on the prairies. I have moved around a bit and have done quite a bit of travelling but found myself wanting to come back home where my roots were! I am nestled in a small lakeside community with the man of my dreams and my 2 fur babies, Charlie ( a handsome chocolate lab) and Bronson ( a dapper white boxer).

I am an on location portrait and lifestyle photographer. I like to think of myself as a story-telller. I specialize in capturing raw, authentic moments in a style that is timeless, fun and true to your personality. My approach to photography is relaxed and casual, focusing on the connections you make with your loved ones. I use my years of experience, skills and knowledge to ensure your photos are a reflection of who you truly are! I invest my time with research, education and different workshops throughout the year to insure I stay up to date with the best possible ways to capture timeless images.
